Enjoy fall festivities and trick-or-treating at Illinois Lutheran Elementary School (448 Cass Street, Crete, IL). New this year is a BBQ Smoke Off competition. Calling All BBQ Smoke Enthusiasts
Do you have a killer smoked brisket recipe? Or the best dry rub, or smoked BBQ chicken recipe? Sign up for our new BBQ Smoke off competition on October 26 from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM, and test your skills against other smoke masters! Chefs of all ages are welcome to participate for this event in conjunction with the ILES Trunk-or-Treat held at Illinois Lutheran Elementary (448 Cass Street in Crete). Winners will receive a $75 Amazon gift card. The event will take place inside the Trinity Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall across the street. Food must be cooked at home, and participants must be ready for judging and set up by 2:45 PM.

Trunk-or-Treat Trunk Participants
We are looking for families, groups and individuals to host a “trunk” at the Illinois Lutheran Trunk-or-Treat from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 26 at the elementary campus (448 Cass Street in Crete). Elizabeth Street between Trinity and the school will be closed down for trunks. This is a family-friendly event. Please no gory or spooky decor. If the weather is bad, we will move the event into the gym and use tables.
