Residential Fire for Crete Family

For those of you unaware, a family of 7 had a house fire this past week. The community has rallied around them and have already donated bags and bags of clothing to this family (that just recently moved to Crete).

In an update from the Crete Police Department, they stated that the family is currently residing in temporary housing. They wanted to express their appreciation after receiving the overwhelming support by the community. Currently, they are no longer in immediate need of donations or supplies. We will provide an additional update if this were to change.

However, there is still a way you can help this family. A Meal Train has been created for the Guerra family. Please consider signing up to provide them with a home-cooked meal, a gift card to a local restaurant or a grocery delivery. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful difference.
