Music & Arts Festival

Illinois Lutheran Schools is hosting its second Music & Arts Festival on Sunday, May 19, at 1:00 PM at the high school campus. Doors will open at 12:30 PM. This is a fundraising event that will include performances by Illinois Lutheran students in all of our band and choral programs, and will also include some special solo performances. Illinois Lutheran student artwork will also be on display and for sale!

The cost is $10 per person for admission to the Festival. Festival attendees will be entitled to a pasta meal complete with sides and dessert, viewing of all musical entertainment, the art show, automatic entry into a raffle for a $50 gift card and one basket raffle ticket. Additional basket raffle tickets can be purchased. This year we are also including a bake sale!

Students in grades 4-12 that participate in Illinois Lutheran’s band, choirs, or submit artwork to the event, will have free admission.

Cash payment will be due upon entry to the event, or you have the option to pre-register through May 18. To pre-register through Venmo, simply open your Venmo app and send Illinois Lutheran Schools, Inc. (@ILHS1610) $10.00 per ticket purchase.

2024 WELS East Regional Choral Festival

The Illinois Lutheran Schools Music & Arts Festival is a fundraiser for the 2024 WELS East Regional Choral Festival that we are hosting in November. This event will bring hundreds of WELS high school students from across the country to our campus for a weekend. The mission of the WELS Choral Festival is to foster Christian Fellowship among WELS high school students as they prepare, rehearse and perform choral music, so that with one heart and voice they may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 15:16)

Student Art

We are looking for artists in grades 4-12 to submit artwork for this event. Artwork is due to the school office no later than Friday, May 10. Click here to learn more.

Music & Arts Festival T-Shirts: Orders Due April 29

You can also support the Music & Arts Festival by ordering t-shirts! Click here to order your Festival t-shirts by Monday, April 29. T-shirts are $20 each. Cash or check (payable to ILS) should be submitted to the school office no later than Monday, April 29. Once t-shirts arrive at the school, we will notify you so that you may pick up your order. The t-shirt is black with the logo at the top of this email in blue. All music student participants will have their name printed on the back of the t-shirt.

Volunteer

Please take a look at the sign up list and consider how you might help us have a successful event. Please note that with the exception of desserts, donated items can be brought in any time in the week leading up to the festival. If you are so moved, feel free to sign up for more than one spot.

Donate

We are accepting raffle basket donations for the Music & Arts Festival. Please drop off baskets in the office the week of May 13.
