Illinois Lutheran Schools
Trinity Lutheran Church, together with Zion Lutheran Church, operates Illinois Lutheran Schools, a nationally accredited school system for students Preschool through 12th grade. We are very proud of our school and financially sacrifice to support it. The school has received much recognition for its quality Christian education. Check out our school’s website.
Teen Ministry
Do you enjoy working with high-school aged youth? Trinity’s Teen Ministry serves high school aged teenagers by sharing God’s Word through reverent, relevant, and relational activities that encourage teens as they are brought to God, grow with God, and walk with God throughout their lives. F.I.S.H.
Do you enjoy working with junior-high aged youth? The F.I.S.H. (Faith Is Strengthened Here) junior-high youth group of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church provides opportunity for seventh and eighth graders to participate in Bible study, fellowship activities, and service to our church and community, all to the glory of God. Pioneers
Pioneers is a youth group for boys and girls in grades 1-6. The purpose of Pioneers is to engage and encourage kids in activities in connection with God's Word. The various activities are centered on outdoor education, community service, domestic life skills & fellowship. We also have a pinewood car derby in the winter. Trinity Kids (Sunday School)
Trinity Kids is a Sunday school program offered at Trinity Lutheran Church. This program is an age-appropriate Bible study for all children 4 years old through Grade 6. We meet during the 9:30am service to grow in God's word through stories, music and play. Our goal is to help children grow in their faith so that as they mature they can make the transition to traditional worship. Both teens and adults are welcome, and encouraged, to be a part of carrying out this ministry through leading our group discussions and supervising activities. Children’s Activity Center (Nursery)
Do you have a heart for young children? The Children’s Activity Center provides a fun, safe, loving, Christ-centered environment for young children (ages 4 and under) while their parents attend Sunday morning church services and activities, so that both parents and their children may grow in their faith, all to glorify God. Jesus Cares
Do you have a heart for children with special needs? Jesus Cares Sunday School instructs children with special needs in God’s Word so that through the work of the Holy Spirit, they may come to faith in Jesus Christ their Savior or be strengthened in their faith. Happy Hands Puppets
Do you have a flair for drama? The Happy Hands Puppet Ministry is a team of children and adults who share the gospel of Jesus Christ with our church, community, and the world using stories, music and humor through the art of puppetry. The Happy Hands Puppet Ministry is designed to break down barriers in order to share the gospel in creative ways that appeal to children of all ages.
