Midweek Lenten Services

We begin our Lenten season on Ash Wednesday, February 18. We will have one service at 3:30 PM every Wednesday until March 25. Following the service, all are welcome to stay for a meal in the Fellowship Hall. A freewill offering at the meal is always welcome to offset the cost of the meal. Pastor Joshua Busch from Glory to God in Tinley will lead us in worship each week for our Lenten services.

Glory to God Lutheran Church in Tinley Park wants to invite anyone who is unable to attend our 3:30 PM midweek Lenten services to join them in Tinley for their later service. They will have a meal at 5:45 PM and the service starts at 6:00 PM.

As for our sister church, Zion, with their ongoing vacancy, they have changed their Lenten worship times. They will only have one service at 3:45 PM each week; no 7:00 PM service is being held.

Ushers Needed for Midweek Lenten Services

If you read the article above, then you know that the Lent season is upon us and that also means we need ushers to assist with the Wednesday services. Gentlemen, AND ladies, if you would like to help serve your church in this role, please sign up on the sign up sheet located on the Ushers Station as you enter the sanctuary or contact Mark Reiners and let him know what Wednesday(s) you can help with.
