Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, a family of believers,
shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ to nurture God's people
and to reach out to bring others to Christ.

Our mission statement summarizes why we are “a place to come home to.”  As a family of believers we seek to reflect the love of Christ in all that we do – in our relationship with God, with each other, and with the community.

At Trinity, we believe the Bible is the Word of God. Based on the Scriptures, we proclaim Jesus as the true Son of God and Savior of the world. God’s gift of salvation is given to all who believe in Jesus as their Savior.

In a partnership with Zion Lutheran Church in Crete, we operate Illinois Lutheran School  to assist parents in bringing up their children "in the training and instruction of the Lord." (Ephesians 6:4) This unique educational ministry serves student from preschool through 12^th grade. There is currently a combined enrollment of over 330 students at both campuses.

Trinity is a member of the WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod), an international church body that is actively working to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 27 countries.

Our average attendance is about 470 at worship each week.  We offer a home for you to grow in faith through Bible Study; worship and praise; and opportunities for fellowship and service.
